o Why markets channel greed and end up making it good. In other words, Gordon Gekkco was right for the wrong reason.
o Is the GOP waiting for Superman? Is Romney the last man standing? Or will he and Newt duke it out to the bitter end?
o Liberals lack understanding of basic economics according to a recent study. Surprise?!
o A some book picks from the George W. Bush era. One, is President Bush's Decision Points. The second is On the Brink by former Secretary of Treasury Paulson on the financial crisis. The final one is Donald Rumsfeld, Known and Unknown. HBO recently released a docudrama, Too Big to Fail, about the bailout the Panic of 2008.
o A couple of other books on the list, Crash Course by Paul Ingrassia on the automobile industry and Grand Pursuit: The Search for Economic Genius by Sylvia Nassar.
o o College Hoops is cranking up with conference play under way. The first showdown with the darker shade of blue, aka Dook, aka Duke is Wednesday night. Go Heels!
