Catholics, Obama and Atlas Shrugged

This looks like another example of the vision of Atlas Shrugged. This article, "American Catholicism's Deal with the Devil," discusses how the Catholic church and its long history of compromises with the government have played out in the recent “accommodation” with the Administration.

This reminds of scene in Atlas Shrugged. where the government planners that had been invited into Taggart rail board turned on them. In particular, they demanded the railroad raise wages and cut prices while facing large losses. Dagny scolds her brother that he should have never brought them in since at sometime they would turn on them. Another one for Ayn.
